IET继续按照与GenRad相同的规格生产1433系列十年电阻器。
个别数十年(0510十年抗性单元)可用于仅需十年的应用或作为实验设备,生产测试设备或商业仪器的组件。
1433十年电阻器是由单个机柜中的0510十年电阻单元组装而成。吸引人的铝制机柜和面板提供单元和开关触点的机械和电气屏蔽。电阻元件没有与机壳和面板的电连接,为此提供单独的屏蔽端子。
每个0510型十年电阻单元都封装在铝制屏蔽中,并提供旋钮和蚀刻金属表盘。每十年有十个电阻串联;较低价值的十年中的触点具有银覆盖层以确保电阻的稳定性,并且几十年来在零设置上具有银合金触点以提供低且一致的零电阻。结构中使用的电阻可以最大限度地减少残余电抗的影响。
